Mira Savaric

Mira is Araiel's older sister, and before meeting Fioline, Araiel was the only person she cared about. Before the sisters struck out on their own, Mira spent her days fighting for scraps for the sisters to live off of, while Araiel worked for the mages. After Araiel was deemed to unstable to continue her studies in magic, Mira convinced her sister to continue her studies in secret.

One night their hometown was attacked, and the summoner leading the raid was killed, leaving his summoned creature to run wild through the streets. In the panic, Mira managed the bind the creature to herself, but destroyed the rest of the town and the sisters were the only survivors. When Mira recovered, the sisters ran, fearing that the local authorities would blame them for the destruction.

Since then, she has broken the bond between her and the evil creature; binding herself to Fioline instead, with a ritual Araiel designed.
