Don't worry. I've just been taking a bit of a break from dA lately. Yanno, trying to get my real life sorted out, working on a story....those kinds of things.
I haven't really had the drive to draw lately, but I am working on finishing up a huge drawing that I started around Christmas time.

I just need to finish up the background(yes. There is one of those in this drawing.)
My sister's back into her stealing bit again.

She's in 4th grade and carries a purse to school already(probably to look cool or something...who knows?) but my mom looked in her purse today and found a bunch of my makeup and 3 dollars in quarters. The quarters belong to my mom. She also had my old cell phone and charger in her purse too. I'll bet you anything she was going to give it away to someone. Not that a 9 year old needs a fucking cell-phone.

I wasn't as mad this time, but I was more "I told you so" to my mom, because something was telling me she was going to start up with her bit again soon. My mom was all "She's changed, Kristi. She's not a thief anymore."
Now what, biatch? I was right. XP

My mom says it must be a jealousy thing for her to keep stealing from me because she doesn't steal from stores or anything. Just me. =_=;;
It's not like my stuff is cool anyway.....

More seriously tough, tell your mom not to let her have a purse anymore. If she lets her, then she's a HORRIBLE mom. because the kid does not need a purse, should not be wearing make up at her age, and OBVIOUSLY uses it to STEAL. you'Re just the clossest, easiest person to reach for money, she'll get confident and start on stores, trust me. =_=;

when hormones kick in and she starts to think she's smarter then everybody else (stupid kids do that) she'll think she's so good she'll never get caught, and then the police will have to call your house to tell your mom her stupid ass daughter was caught stealing.

I would seriously hit her if she stole from you again. "When the head doesn't get it, the ass always does." so you just have to kick it every once in a while to get the point across. if she steals again after that, kick it HARDER, it's like speaking louder, but the point is more direct. :3

I'm telling you, if your mom doesn't stop the problem at the home, she'll have to pay fines when the kid starts shoplifting. And once she's old enough to get herself into serious jailtime trouble...? 9.9 Oh well, won't be your problem. X3
Nope.

They keep telling me not to do anything about it. That they'll take care of it.
Fine.

They can take care of it.

Especially when she goes to jail.
I'm not posting bail for the brat.

Welcome back! Yeah I took a break from DA for a bit as well. as for the stealing, well I have a little brother who gets in alot of trouble for similar things so I know how you feel. Haha 'I told you so' is pretty much how I feel all the time. What can you do... parents can be really set in their ways and if the parents don't handle it, kids will never learn to show you or anyone respect. All you can do is keep yourself out of trouble and hope they learn something from you.

I guess I'm just gonna have to let them handle it.

Sorry i can't be a bigger help, but you have to understand that i'm not really an expert on this eventhough i've taken a bunch of psychology classes. I mean, after all, if that is all it took i would open a clinic now =P
